The official opening ceremony of VTW on June 23, 2022 was marked by gratitude. Managing Director Manfred Schinko and Vasantha company owner Dayanand Reddy took the opportunity to express words of thanks to all external companions, as well as the complete VTW team. “Only thanks to the support of local companies, as well as other partners from finance and politics, as well as the commitment of our employees, we managed to implement our sporting schedule without delay within nine months,” said Schinko, adding humorously, “But the start of the welcoming ceremony was unfortunately delayed by almost half an hour.”
The Reddy family used the festive occasion to accept VTW’s invitation to travel from India together for the first time. Dayanand Reddy set foot in the newly built company building for the first time and made a lasting impression. The Vasantha company owner expressed his enthusiasm for the new location in Waidhofen and his satisfaction with the milestones achieved so far several times. “Our opening ceremony was the crowning glory of an eventful week with many customer visits from the USA, England, France, Germany and Austria. I am pleased that we had the opportunity to personally thank our many partners for their contribution in building VTW” Manfred Schinko addressed the guests.
One of many highlights was the cabaret SM in dialect, the cocktail bar and the awarding of special VTW honorary titles. “Birgit, you have already supported us at the very beginning in our Mission-Undercover, accommodated us with you in the Pump Oasis and even postponed the expansion of the training rooms, so we hereby officially award you the title ‘The Landlady’,” Manfred Schinko introduced the award ceremony and brought Birgit Rafetseder on stage. For his optimism and commitment in connection with the financing, Andreas Schuster of Volksbank may from now on call himself “The Optimist”. As far as the technical component and the set-up of the IT are concerned, Reinhard Kreitner was on hand at all hours and goes down in the company history of VTW with the title “The Supporter”.
With the evening sun behind us, cool drinks, an exclusive band and many familiar faces, nothing stood in the way of a pleasant get-together. To look back on VTW’s beginnings, all guests were allowed to take home a photo book with retrospectives and important milestones of VTW.
